We bring 3 medals from the 2025 European Championships in Sarajevo
The ITF European Taekwon-Do Championship was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 23.4. to 27.4.2025, in the category of seniors, juniors and cadets. Nearly 900 competitors from 32 countries participated in the championship. In the Slovenian national team, which consisted of 29 competitors, 4 of our members from the our club participated in the competition. They all showed excellent performances and demonstrated great fighting spirit and knowledge with their victories.

In the junior team, which won 3rd place in the team fights, Neža Guštin and Teja Staroverski also helped the team to win with their fights, and they are returning home with bronze medals. Well done girls!
In the junior team, which also won 3rd place in the team fights, Tibor Oblak also helped to achieve success with his fights, and he is returning home with a bronze medal. Bravo Tibor!
Marko and Tibor Oblak showed quality fights in the individual fights of juniors up to 60kg, but unfortunately this was not enough for a more visible success, which was also not possible for Teja Staroverski, who participated in such a large competition for the first time, in the individual fights of juniors up to 57kg.
Slovenia won 15 medals and 5 European Championship titles at this European Championship.
At the same time as the European Championships, the AETF (All Europe Taekwon-do Federation) Congress was held. Master Tomaž Barada was elected by an overwhelming majority as the President of the AETF for the period 2025-2029, and our President Robert Guštin was appointed to the AETF Revisory Commitee with great support. Congratulations to both!
