New Challenger Cup 2024
On Saturday, 9.11.2024, we participated in the New Challenger Cup 2024 match in the town of Sitges near Barcelona, in competition with 8 countries (Germany, Poland, Belgium, Moldova, Slovenia, Italy, Ireland and Spain), 22 clubs and over 250 competitors. Taekwon-do klub Radovljica participated in the match with 16 competitors and a large support team of judges, coaches and fans. This match was very successful for us, as we took an overall excellent 5th place among all the clubs in the competition.
Our competitors showed themselves very well, and they achieved the highest places:

- Anđela Bogdanović, 2. place tulls 8. kup and 2. place sparring -158 cm
- Oskar Škriba Arnež, 2. place tulls 4. kup and 1. place sparring -45kg
- Aleksej Kerez, 2. place tulls 6. kup and 3. place sparring -50kg
- Brina Aleksić, 2. place sparring – 50kg
- Teja Staroverski, 1. place sparring – 55kg
- Anastasia Simić, 3. place tulls 4. kup and 1. place sparring +70kg
- Ela Košir, 2. place tulls 3. kup and 2. place sparring +70kg
- Neža Guštin, 3. place tulls II. DAN and 1. place sparring – 50kg
- Deana Škriba Ozvaldič, 3. place tulls 3. kup
- Mira Nastran, 2. place tulls 4. kup
- Rok Knafelj, 2. place tulls I. DAN
- Mitja Jukič Grm, 1. place tulls I. DAN

After the competition day, we deservedly enjoyed a free day around Barcelona. We will be back again next year.
