Successful presentation at the 5th Challenger Cup in Spain
On Saturday 12.11.2016 we were under the auspices of ITF Slovenia with 8-member team of 6 competitors, referee and coach, attend international matches in Spain. In the idyllic seaside town Sitges in the immediate vicinity of Barcelona was the 5th Challenger Cup, in the competition of 220 competitors from 10 countries, achieved the following results:
- Tibor Oblak, 1. place, sparing boys, -140 cm
- Naja Zupan, 2. place, sparing juniors, -50 kg, 3. place, touls juniors, I.DAN
- Gašper Papler, 1. place, sparing adults, -64 kg, 3. place, sparing adults, -82 kg
- Denis Škufca, 3. place, sparing adults, -64 kg
- Barbara Sitar, 1. place, touls veterans I. – III.DAN, 3. place, sparing adults, 70+kg
- Robert Guštin, 2. place, sparing adults, -70 kg
Competitors would like to thank the main coach Željko Gvozdić, VII. DAN to perform the judicial duty and Tina Oblak for the premiere coaching. We also thank our parents and families to support – together we enable superior results!
